January 5th "Game Night"

Fa La Lo’s “Game Night” invites Presidential Candidates.
This Thursday, January 5th at 7pm, Fa La Lo at 7 Commercial Alley in
downtown Portsmouth, NH will have one of its traditional “game
nights.”  This evening, the game played will be the locally made game
“Commander-In-Chief: the game that elects you president.”
Since New Hampshire has many candidates who would like to be elected
president, Fa La Lo is inviting each to its game night.  The object of
the game is to win the most electoral college votes via the player’s
knowledge of all 50 states and the electoral college, the game can be
played by two or four players as each team plays to gain the electoral
college votes necessary to become president.
Fa La Lo is well known for its commitment to selling only locally made
or fairly traded products.  This game is its newest product, and it is
perfect for residents of New Hampshire who are intimately involved in
the election process.  At the January 5th event, owners Scott Segee
and Liz Wright will teach participants how to play the game as they
invite all guests to enjoy “campaign” refreshments.  “We thought the
game would be perfect for the candidates,” says Segee.  “It’s a fun
way to get to know the voters for the primary the following Tuesday.”
“We’re aggressively non-partisan,” adds Wright, “but we believe in our
democratic process, so we want to welcome any of the candidates who
would like to join us.”
In previous years, Fa La Lo has hosted other “game nights,” most
notably teaching guests the Nepali game Goats and Tigers.
